An invitation to exhale

You spend your life pouring into others.
This is where you refill.

Kan Tulum is an active-recovery hotel built around water, movement, sound, sleep, and nourishment — forty-two circular limestone suites set deep in the jungle around a private cenote. For five days, it becomes the home of the SKY Wellness Escape: a rare chance to learn one of the world's most studied breathing practices in one of its most beautiful settings. Come to rest. Leave with a rhythm you can keep.

Built around water

A private cenote, at the center of everything.

A circular limestone suite at Kan Tulum with a round mirror and macrame canopy

The place

A room built like a breath.

Every suite is round by design — hand-built from limestone, cool against the heat, with a bed at the center and jungle framed through a single circular window. Fall asleep to cicadas. Wake to birdsong and light through macramé.

Beyond your door: a private cenote for cold-water resets, rooftop and swim-up pools, and the MOTMOT restaurant — modern Mexican cooking that quietly aims for Tulum's first Michelin star.

The practice

SKY Breath Meditation™

The flagship program of the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values — two of the world's leading nonprofits for human wellbeing, present in over 180 countries. Grounded in ancient yogic wisdom and supported by peer-reviewed research, SKY is one of the most studied breathing-based practices available today, with measurable effects on stress, anxiety, focus, and resilience. Over three central days, you'll go deep — roughly three hours daily, in Kan's private yoga chalet, led by senior certified instructors. New to breathwork or years in, SKY meets you where you are.

Calm you can keep

A personal daily practice you can sustain long after you fly home.

Clarity & focus

Down-regulate the nervous system and come back to baseline.

Real renewal

Body, mind, and spirit — not a spa add-on, a genuine reset.

A $500 program · included in your escape

The rituals

Fire, water,
and mangrove.

A guided Temazcal ceremony opens the week — an ancestral Maya sweat lodge led by native practitioners, the deepest kind of welcome. Later, drift the freshwater canals of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, floating the mangroves of a UNESCO reserve.

Between it all: candlelit cenote gatherings, farewell dinner in a private restaurant, and long afternoons that belong entirely to you.

For educators & their families

Bring the ones who ground you.

SKY Schools has spent years bringing breath and calm into classrooms across the country. This escape turns that gift back toward the people who give it — teachers, leaders, and the families who hold them up.

Partners and children are warmly welcome. Kids stay at no additional room cost, and the days are built with space to be together — cenote swims, jungle mornings, and afternoons free to simply be a family in paradise. You don't have to be an educator to come. But if you are: this one's for you.

The rhythm of the days
